Pete is out and wants Griff to be honest about their relationship. However, Griff is happy with the "straight route". Then Pete is savagely queer bashed and Griff is the only witness to the crime. Once Pete is out of the hospital, Griff begins to feel the strains of guilt, as his feelings for Pete still remain. Meanwhile, his new best firend Denetra offers much needed consolation, and also revelas that she too has insecurities about her own sexuality. In order for Griff to reveal the identity of Pete's attackers, he must confront his own feelings and admit his love for Pete to the world.
