Gabriel is a young aspiring musical composer whose life seems stuck in the first act. With nothing happening in his love life, he spends most of his time with his best friend - drama queen and ultimate fag-hag, Katherine (Tori Spelling, on fantastically catty form). When his new musical number gets critically panned, theatre colleague Perry tells Gabriel that he needs to get a life before he can write about one - so he heads straight for his local gay bar. Once there, he spots hot go-go boy Mark, and before long Gabriel has all the ingredients for the perfect one-night stand - except somewhere to go. And so begins an all-night odyssey that finds Gabriel and Mark bouncing all over downtown Manhattan as fate, friends and misunderstandings conspire to keep them from becoming an item.
